The Hotel proposed to rationalize their ground floor layout, create a new gaming area inside former shopfronts, extend their Bistro and family-friendly beer garden area, plus conduct various small alterations to improve to the amenities. The works were carefully planned to conserve layers of wall paint dating back to the 19th century and original decorative ceilings.
