Kevin Ryan has lived in Paddington all his life. After getting involved with the playgrounds as a child, he spent most of his adult working life working at the playgrounds and has a legendary reputation amongst later generations in Woolloomooloo. He was interviewed in June  1995 by Sue Rosen as part of the South Sydney Social History Project.
